How dose "The Giver" end?

Introduce: "The Giver":

In a world with no poverty, crime, sickness and special emotion like love, where every family is happy. A 12 years old kids call Jonas After he has meet a lot of wear thing that he feel weird about, he is chosen to be the Receiver in this community, which is the people who is going to be the Giver. Under the special care of  the Giver, he discovers how his world works so " apathy" and coldly. He try to run away from that community...

The Ending:

I think Jonas die at the end although he is special in the community, because he had never have this kind of experience since when he was born. He can't adapt the new world.

Although the Giver gives him a lot of memory. After he run out of the community with a little boy, he went to a slid and saw a house which has X'mas tree in side and something sounds like singing. I think he die, and how come he heart and saw those images, I think the images is from the old Giver, that's his favorite memory, and the sound? probably is the angel....

Science Engagement.

Sorry I am late for the update....

I gave my self 1 for:

Critical thinker because I don't really think a lot for our group, or don't even related to science, and I can't give any science advantage to my mate. I am useless in science. but maybe I can give some other psychical advantage. But not chemical.

I gave my self 2 for:

Active Learner because I will learn if I understand what they are doing, and what have they done( if I get it)

I gave my self 1 for:

Effective Communicator, because I always don't ask question when I don't understand. And that's not going to help anyone, include my self.

I give my self a 1 for:

Community Contributor, because I think I didn't give any good information or help them on anything.....i try my best, but what if you don't understand anything for the thing that you are going to do, how can you try to do something that is helpful?

I give my self a 1 for:

Person of High Character, because I have no idea what am I good at science, maybe basic physics things it's fine. But if there are any chemical or some others need to use brain, than I don't know how.....
